PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE; The Brownhelm Township Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Brownhelm Township Hall, 1940 North Ridge Road, Vermilion, Ohio. The hearing will be held to consider the Zoning Commission’s recommendations regarding two rezoning applications, in accordance with ORC 519.12 The public is welcome to attend.

The Brownhelm Township Steering Committee will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Brownhelm Township Hall, located at 1940 North Ridge Road, Vermilion, Ohio 44089.

The Lorain County Solid Waste Management District will host a Lorain County Agricultural Tire Collection Day on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 9:00AM to 3:00PM at the Lorain County Collection Center, 540 South Abbe Road in Elyria in the south parking lot.
