Board of Zoning Appeals Hearings - Sep. 10

Public Notice

The Brownhelm Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold two public hearings on Thursday September 10, 2027 at 7:00 P.M., at the Township Office, 1940 North Ridge Road, Vermilion OH. The first will consider an area variance at 8727 Gore Orphanage Rd., Vermilion, Ohio 44089. to allow the building of a barn closer than the standard 20 feet of the property line.

The second hearing is to also consider an area variance at approximately 9395 to 9459 Gifford Rd., Amherst, Ohio 44001, allowing the creation of three building lots from two resulting in frontage widths of 150’, 150’, and 100’. As one of the three lots does not meet the minimum frontage width for a building lot according to the Brownhlem Township Zoning Resolution a variance has been applied for.
